I can't believe I have already beat my previous find a few months ago by almost 4 million! Coin show pick today in a bundle of 100 circulated $2 28D mules.

An unusual find, considering that your note is from 1943.
The last mules were believed to be from 1942 for the $2 LT's.

Yes I was thrilled when I realized it was from 1943. I had confirmed that through Peter Huntoon.
